BRA/ARG - Brazil wins Bronze by dominating Argentina

The Brazilian National team won Bronze in the FIBA Americas Championship for Women by dominating Argentina 73-41 after suffering a loss yesterday against Cuba.

CAN/CHI - Canada ends fifth by beating Chile -
The Canadian National team dominated Chile 86-68 to end in fifth place of the FIBA Americas Championship for Women played in Valdivia. The players coached by Cristian Santander could not neutralize the Canadian attack and were permanently down in the score.

MEX/JAM - Mexico ends seventh -
In the first game of the final day in the FIBA Americas Championship for Women, Mexico defeated Jamaica to end in seventh place 62-55.

USA/ARG - USA rolls over Argentina -
USA didn't have many problems to beat Argentina in the semifinal 104-53 and will now go for the Gold on Sunday.

CHI/JAM - Chile for fifth place -
After the terrible loss against Argentina, the Chilean women's national team faced Jamaica, and the players coached by Cristian Santander didn't keep their game level up but came away with a 75-67 win to play fof fifth place on Sunday.

CAN/MEX - Canada will play for fifth place on Sunday -
In the first game of Saturday, Canada dominated Mexico 77-38 and will play for fifth place on Sunday's action of the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship for Women played in Valdivia, Chile.

In a hot duel in front of 4,000 fans, Argentina defeated Chile 66-63 in overtime to go into the semifinals of the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship for Women.
