MEX - Referee and scorers clinic in Los Cabos: 8/31/2010 Asociación Deportiva Mexicana de Básquetbol will make the Regional and National Referee and Scorers clinic on September 24-26 at Royal Solaris Hotel in Los Cabos. The course is mandatory to be a part of ADEMEBA, FIBA Americas and LNBP competitions.
PER - International referee clinic done in Peru: 11/17/2009 FIBA Americas and the Peruvian Basketball Federation held the International Referee Clinic for candidates and also to renovate the FIBA license. The clinic was held from November 10-12.
PUR - International Referee Clinic held in San Juan: 10/9/2009 FIBA Americas and the Puerto Rican Basketball Federation did an International Referee Clinic on October 2-4 at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
BRA - International Referee Clinic in Sao Paulo: 9/13/2009 FIBA Americas along with the Brazilian Basketball Confederation and the Paulista Federation organized an International Referee Clinic to be done from September 18-20 at Palmeiras Gym in Sao Paulo.
ECU - International Referee Clinic in Ecuador: 5/26/2009 The Ecuadorian Basketball Federation invites all FIBA referees, national and candidates to be part of the International Referee Clinic.
COL - 160 referees participate in Clinic held in Colombia: 4/17/2009 A total of 160 referees participated in the Referee Revalidation and New Candidates clinic held in Bogota, Colombia on April 7-9. The clinic was sponsored by the Colombian Federation and Jairo Romero presided the event along with FIBA Americas.
FIBA International Referee Instructors 2009 and after: 2/22/2009 According to the FIBA Internal Regulations “The programme and the names of the FIBA Instructors conducting the clinic must be submitted by the FIBA Zone to the FIBA Secretariat for approval.”

NIC - Referee Revalidation clinic held in Nicaragua: 11/20/2008 A total of 76 participants were at the Referee Revalidation and New Candidates clinic held at Universidad Tecnológica de Managua during the weekend of November 14-16. The event was organized by the Nicaraguan Basketball Federation (FENIBAL), the Honduras Basketball Federation, Central American Basketball Confederation (COCABA) and FIBA Americas.
URU- FIBA Official's Revalidation and New Candidates Lecture Presented at Montevideo 10/15/2008 With the participation of 36 referee's, candidates and national instructors, FIBA Americas and the National Basketball Federation of Uruguay presented this past 7th through 9th of October, the first Revalidation and New Candidates Clinic for the period of 2009-2012. This clinic was dedicated to the memory of the late Prof. Jorge Restucia.
BAR – Successful Referees’ clinic held in Barbados 5/19/2008 BRIDGEPORT (Referees) - Lubomir Kotleba and Anibal Garcia, Technical Directors of FIBA and FIBA Americas respectively, recently wound up a FIBA Certification/Recertification Referees Clinic in Bridgetown, Barbados for referees of the Caribbean Basketball Confederation's member countries. FIBA Americas – Some of the Continent’s best active in this summer’s main international competitions 4/8/2008 SAN JUAN (Referees) – Some of the best international-level referees of our Continent will be active in this summer’s main competitions leading towards the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing, China. The group selected will represent the countries of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, St. Lucia, Puerto Rico, United States, and Venezuela in three competitions which will either qualify or serve as preparation towards this year’s Olympics.
FIBA - New FIBA referees in America 10/17/2007 Four referees obtained their FIBA license in the clinic held in Santa Fe, Argentina from October 2-4.
FIBA Americas - Referees active during FIBA Americas Championship 9/20/2007 A total of 16 referees were active during the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship played from August 22 until September 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada where USA and Argentina qualified to the 2008 Olympic Games.
ARG - Mother and son referee same game 9/10/2007 Luciano Manzo and Stella Maris made history in Parana, Argentina as they refereed the same game at a Mini Basketball Festival where Patronato defeated Centro 42-29.
NIC - Castellón to Greece 6/15/2007 For the first time in the history of basketball in Central America and Nicaragua, referee Mauricio Castellon has been named to officiate the European U16 Tournament to be played from July 20-29 in Greece.
NIC - Succesful referee clinic in Nicaragua 4/26/2007 The Nicaragua Basketball Federation with support from FIBA Americas, gave the first course for referees. The course was part technical and practical to evaluate referees from Central America who want to be FIBA Referees. The event was led by FIBA Americas Technical Director, Anibal Garcia and FIBA Americas Technical Director for Central America, Gregorio Mejia.
ECU - Ecuador does FIBA Referee Clinic 3/27/2007 According to their plans the Ecuadorian Basketball Federation did a FIBA Referee Clinic from March 9-11 in Guayaquil. Cesar Rodriguez, who is a FIBA Instructor, gave the clinic to 44 National Referees along with the local FIBA Referees.
