FAU18 - Mexico defeated Uruguay and finished in the seventh position

The team led by Sergio Molina had an excellent fourth quarter and defeated the Uruguayan national team, 79-65. As a result, Mexico ended its participation in the seventh position of the FIBA Americas Championship, while Uruguay finished in the eighth place. The best scorer for the Mexicans was Victor Alvarez with 16 points.

Spain2014 - Marcelinho still making his mark with national team

History is going to smile favorably on Marcelinho Huertas for what he's been able to accomplish on the basketball court. The fans love him in Spain, where he plays professionally for Barcelona, and also back home in Brazil where supporters know him as a lynchpin in the national side.

FAU18 - USA Dispatches Dominican Republic 90-56, Advances To Eighth Gold Medal Game In Nine FIBA Americas U18s

After downing the Dominican Republic (2-2) 90-56 in the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship medal semifinal, the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team (4-0) advanced to its eighth gold medal game in nine U18s on Monday night at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

FAU18 - Canada will play for the Gold Medal of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship

The team led by Roy Rana had to go to extra-time to defeat Argentina, 91-82 and secure their place in the game for the Gold Medal. Canada will face the winner of the Semi-Final between the USA and the Dominican Republic. For its part, Argentina will play the loser for the bronze medal.

FAU18 – Brazil comfortably defeated Uruguay and will face Puerto Rico for the fifth place

The Team led by Paul Costa defeated the team led by Luis Pierri, 97-55. Tomorrow, Brazil will face Puerto Rico to determine the fifth place in the tournament, while Uruguay will face Mexico to determine seventh place.
