Dominican Republic got the bronze medal after beating Puerto Rico 103 to 89. For the winning team the best player was Al Horford with 23 points and 12 rebounds. For Puerto Rico Daniel Santiago had 25 points being the highest scorer of the game.

Argentina beat Puerto Rico in a passionate game 81-79 and got the final ticket for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Tomorrow, they will play against Brazil for the title.

Brazil reaches first spot in the Olympic Games

Brazil took the first Semi-Final, and spot in the Olympic Games, after defeating the Dominican Republic 83-76. The team coached by Ruben Magnano won this important game with solid defense and great effectiveness from the three-point line. The game’s best scorer was Marcelo Machado with 20 points (5/8 from the three-point line).
