In an exciting match, Argentina defeated the National Team of Canada, 53-49, to win the the bronze medal at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women.

Brazil defeated Argentina, 67-54, in the first semifinal of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women thanks to an impressive second half and game from Vannessa Fausto, who scored 17 points and 13 rebounds.

12FAU18W - Big 61-40 win for Canada against Mexico

Canada scored an important second victory in the FIBA Americas U18 women defeating Mexico, 61-40. The best scorer of the game for the Canadians was Paige Crozon with 13 points and 7 rebounds, helped by Kaylee Halvorson who scored 12 points in the victory.

United States remained unbeaten and secured their FIBA U19 World Cup qualifying spot defeating Colombia by a score of 87-36. Argentina also secured its classification with Colombia’s loss.
