Polideportivo Islas Malvinas - Mar de Plata:

Polideportivo Islas Malvinas is a stadium located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, constructed for the XII Pan-American Games in 1995. It is built to be the host of sports like basketball, handball, voleyball, tenis and spectacles of all kind, conventions and expositions. In the city it is known to be the home of Peñarol Mar del Plata in the Argentinean National League.

This stadium has a capacity for 8,500 fans and it has become one of the symbols of the city because of their use over the years. Later on it has been the host of many concerts but their main use is for basketball where Peñarol and Quilmes play.

Now this is the host of the 2011 FIBA Americas Championship where the ten best national teams will play for two spots in the 2012 Olympics.
